These
desk clocks use the same mechanism as those described above.
They incorporate two pen holdersand a round recess that is fitted with
glass to use as a coaster. Alternatively, the glass may have a
photograph placed beneath it, or the glass removed altogether and the
recess used to store paper clips etc
