About Kangaroo Leather Kangaroo leather is one of the finest and strongest light weight leathers known. Its tensile strength far exceeds that of any of the domestic animal leather and it is much lighter. For this reason it is widely used to produce the highest quality sporting shoes. Virtually all soccer boots worn by international players are made from kangaroo leather.
The light weight and fine texture of kangaroo leather also makes it highly prized in the fashion, and other industries.
About Emu Leather This large native Australian bird offers designers a naturally supple, uniquely patterned leather. Although similar to the ostrich in appearance, ostrich body leather has a raised quill pattern, while Emu body leather is fine grained, with unique tiny feather follicles.
Emu body leather is lightweight and uniquely patterned, with a distinctive feather follicle structure and fine grain. It dyes readily and polishes well. The average body leather size is 6.5 square feet and 2 mm thick, making it ideally suited for clothing, shoe trimmings and accessories.
The leg leather is reptilian in appearance. Its unique appearance makes it ideal for shoe trimmings, watchbands and accessories.
Suppleness is the greatest advantage of quality Emu leather. The leather handles well and can be manipulated easily allowing intricate designs, a characteristic prized by the world's leading accessory designers. |
